Sandra F. Zane - President and Co-founder of LifeTech, Inc .
Sandra is a certified instructor with the American Heart Association, American Safety and Health Institute and Medic First Aid programs to teach CPR, First Aid, BLS, ACLS, Bloodborne Pathogens and many other courses related to health and safety.
Sandra has nearly 20 years of experience in Health Education. She has a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara. From there she spent two years in Cameroon, West Africa doing maternal and child health education with the U.S. Peace Corps. She then spent 13 years working for the County of San Bernardino, Department of Public Health first in the HIV program, then in Immunizations, Epidemiology and Bioterrorism/Emergency Preparedness and Response. She is currently a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners Inland Empire Chapter, and Rotary International.
Sandy lives in Loma Linda with her husband Ryan and two children. In her free time she enjoys running, traveling and spending time with her family.
Veronica Pfohlman - C.F.O and Co-founder of LifeTech, Inc.
Veronica Pfohlman is a certified instructor with the American Heart Association, American Safety and Health Institute and Medic First Aid to teach CPR, First Aid, BLS, ACLS, Bloodborne Pathogens and much more.
Veronica has 11 years of experience in Health Education and Administration. She has a Masters degree in Health Services Administration from California State University, San Bernardino. Veronica later worked at Cal State San Bernardino as an instructor teaching Health Science. She has several years of research work as well as five years of experience with the County of San Bernardino, Department of Public Health doing health education in the fields of Reproductive Health, Immunizations, Epidemiology and Bioterrorism/Emergency Preparedness and Response. She is currently a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners Inland Empire Chapter, a member of the Distribution Management Association, and a Steering Committee member of the Safety Forum of The Inland Empire.
Veronica lives in Temecula with her husband Scott and two step daughters Brittany and Kayla. Veronica loves hiking (or so she says, her business partner has never even seen her with a pair of hiking boots), dancing and spending time with her family and friends.
Debra Muskthel – Certified Instructor; Office Administrator
Debra has been with LifeTech since its inception and is one of the most popular instructors LifeTech has. She loves teaching and is certified to instruct BLS, CPR and First Aid courses.
Prior to joining LifeTech Debra owned her own business with her husband. That is where she honed her administrative skills: coordinating office support services, selecting office vendors, supervising the purchasing process, etc. She currently handles all of those tasks, plus a lot more with LifeTech. Debra takes care of issuing cards and CEUs, as well as scheduling classes and teaching.
Debra lives in the Rancho Cucamonga area with her husband John. In her free time she enjoys riding her Harley motorcycle, dancing and spending time with her three grandchildren.
Charlie Keegan – Certified Instructor
Charlie has also been with LifeTech since its inception. He has 23 years of experience teaching CPR and First Aid. He brings a wealth of experience to LifeTech including a background of training in safety and OSHA related matters, MSHA (Mining Safety), forklift safety and certification, fire extinguisher safety, and Injury & Illness Prevention program (IIPP).
Charlie is certified to teach BLS, CPR, and First Aid with LifeTech. With his background and knowledge his classes are very thorough and informative. His laid back style brings a fun element to the courses he teaches.
Charlie is a Michigan native who now calls Hesperia, CA his home. He lives in the high desert with his wife, Deb, and their two children. He enjoys NASCAR, Hockey (Detroit Red Wings) Classic Rock Music (Bob Seger), and teaching others on the importance of safety and CPR.
Keith Smith – Certified Instructor
Keith is currently a fire engineer/paramedic, which he has been doing for 18 years. His vast experience in the field is a wonderful asset to LifeTech.
Keith is our lead instructor for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) courses.He is our expert in basic and advanced abilities and techniques. His background in the placement of peripheral, and intra-osseous lines, endotracheal intubations, fluid and drug therapy, cardiac monitoring and EKG interpretations, defibrillation, and cardioversion have made him an excellent instructor, respected and well liked by students and peers.
Besides teaching ACLS, Keith also teaches PALS courses as well as BLS and basic CPR/First Aid. He has a great way of making students feel comfortable and assuring that they understand even the difficult or unfamiliar concepts regarding advanced cardiac care.
Keith resides in Lake Arrowhead with his wife and son. In his free time he enjoys mountain biking, hiking, off-roading and boating
Chad Meketarian – Certified Instructor
Chad is a fire fighter/paramedic with five years of experience behind him. He is an instructor for LifeTech teaching ACLS, PALS, BLS and CPR/First Aid. His skills and knowledge are apparent in each class he teaches.
Chad is our primary PALS instructor. His classes cover the importance of basic life support CPR to patient survival; the integration of effective basic life support with advanced cardiovascular life support interventions; and the importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation in the pediatric setting. His thorough understanding and experience with pediatric issues brings a unique experience to the LifeTech team.
Chad lives in Yucapia with his wife and two young children. When he is not working he likes to play ice hockey and is part of a local team.
